Mameshiba *kawaii bean dog*!

A massive and growing obsession of mine since working here has been the Mameshiba range of merchandise from Dentsu Japan.

“What exactly is Mameshiba?  They’re not quite a bean, nor a dog but rather a hybrid of both. They love to appear out of nowhere and offer random bits of trivia whether you asked for it or not…”

They seem to exist in pretty much any merch form you can think of. Phone charms, stickers, earphones, iPhone holders, books, film, games. And they epitomise pointlessness, not even performing their trivia-delivering function that consistently. Brilliant.
